Located on the island of Evia—a scenic two-hour drive from Athens—Skyhut Villa sits atop a cliff offering endless panoramic views over the sea. When Phoebe and Sam invited us as their photo and video team to document their special day at one of the most unique wedding venues in greece, we knew it would be a wedding to remember.
Even with an unexpected plot twist from the Greek weather, their wedding turned into one of the most romantic, energetic, and atmospheric events we have ever had the privilege to capture.
The Wedding Day: From Sunlit Vows to Rain-Kissed Indoor Party
Getting Ready inside Skyhut Villa
The day started inside the spacious, beautifully designed suites of Skyhut Villa. Both Phoebe and Sam spent their morning preparing for the big moment under one roof, surrounded by their closest friends and family. As their photo and video team, having ample space inside the villa allowed us to move effortlessly between both prep rooms, capturing every genuine laugh, toast, and emotional moment.
Phoebe and Sam were absolute sweethearts throughout the entire day. Kind, lighthearted, and so deeply in love, their warm personalities made everyone around them feel relaxed from the very first minute.
Rooftop Ceremony Overlooking Evia
The absolute highlight of Skyhut Villa is its sweeping rooftop terrace. High above the coastline, Phoebe and Sam exchanged their personal vows during a heartwarming outdoor ceremony overlooking the sea.
We were extremely lucky: the weather held up perfectly for their vows. Just as they said “I do” and walked down the aisle as husband and wife, the sky made history—it began to rain on the one single day of the year it usually doesn’t rain in the region!
An Epic Indoor Party, Saxophone & Fireworks
Rather than letting the rain dampen the mood, Phoebe, Sam, and their incredible guests leaned right into the party spirit. The celebrations seamlessly shifted indoors into the villa’s expansive living spaces.
A live saxophonist joined the DJ, filling the venue with incredible energy as guests hit the dance floor. The grand finale of the evening was a spectacular champagne tower surrounded by indoor cold-spark fireworks—a moment that created pure magic for both our camera lenses and cinema gear.
